Young Four Eyes (Teddy Roosevelt Mini-Series)
She died in his arms on Valentine’s Day, the anniversary of their engagement. On that very night in that very house, his mother died, too. He gave his brand new baby girl to his sister and headed west. It was in the badlands of the Dakotas in the badlands of his life that something happened to heal the devastated 25-year-old. What was it that healed Teddy Roosevelt and propelled him into the arena to take the country by storm?
Young Four-Eyes is an eight-episode historical mini-series that begins with the death of a president (Lincoln) and ends with the death of a president (McKinley). In between, we meet the sickly child who would make his body, train his mind, survive multiple personal tragedies, and go on to become the youngest US president in history and launch the American Century.
You may know the barrel-chested, be-speckled grin of the dynamo Old Four Eyes.
But do you know the best of the story?
With Young FourEyes, we don’t simply want to make a film. We want to launch a film industry.”
